The African Network Of Entrepreneurs (TANOE) together with the Ghana Tech Lab has officially launched the 2021 Ghana Startup Awards

The Ghana Startup Awards is an annual award ceremony that celebrates ambitious and indigenous Ghanaian Start-up Businesses that are making an impact, contributing to economic growth, meeting social needs, and putting Ghana on the global economic map.

The Awards honours young, smart and daring entrepreneurs & startups, who, despite all the challenges they face, have taken the risk to pursue entrepreneurship as a full-time career and are building globally competitive businesses.

Speaking to the media in Accra, Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman of the Ghana Startup Awards, Mr. Ekow Mensah stated “I am happy we’ve officially launched the 3rd edition of Ghana Startup Awards. We are looking forward to really encouraging and exposing and then motivating startups especially in this difficult time of COVID- 19 with different variants but people that have been resilient, growing their businesses, creating jobs, impacting lives, and growing the economy deserves the recognition we intend to give during the 3^rd edition of Ghana Startup Awards”.

Nominations are now open till September 8, 2021. The 3^rd edition of the awards slated for October 1, will be held at the Accra Digital Center.
